Remember When Nawazuddin Wasn’t Allowed To Play Hindu God? His Son Just Completed His Dream!

Who wouldn’t want to work with a talent like Nawazuddin Siddiqui? Overcoming many struggles, the man has proved his mettle in Bollywood. Today almost everyone in showbiz dreams to work with him. The B-town talks about him with only glorious affirmatives. Such is the respect he has earned! But in spite of all the acclamation and appreciation, there was also a time when Nawaz had to let go of a particular dream of his.

Remember last year, when Nawaz was not able to accomplish his childhood dream of performing in Ram-Leela?

Although rehearsals for the act had begun, Nawaz decided to drop out of the play because there was a lot of criticism, coming in for him from Shiv Sena.

The actor received a lot of censure from the political party for playing the character of a ‘Hindu deity.’ The party had issues with a ‘Muslim’ man depicting the ‘Hindu’ God. To maintain peace and order, Nawaz, therefore, decided to back out!

But seems like his dream got finally fulfilled. All thanks to his son! The little one played the role of ‘Natkhat Nandlala’ in his school and Nawaz couldn’t be happier about it.

Isn’t Junior Siddiqui looking adorable?

We salute the decision of the school of looking at talent beyond all the religious boundaries. For understanding that talent is raw and is free from all the cultural ties. For acknowledging the importance of the talent and giving it nothing but a healthy platform! We hope to see such positive change in many more places in India.
