Whether in cities or villages, women looking for husbands encounter families who demand a lot of money, jewellery, and other valuables as part of the marriage deal. But what many don’t realize is that many women are also looking for husbands who earn a hefty salary package, have their own house and car, and live separately from their parents. They’re basically looking for rich husbands, which is similar to being a “gold-digger” in modern terms.
A user on Twitter shared how a 37-year-old woman who has a salary package of 4 LPA is looking for a groom earning Rs 1 crore per annum package. Her message was originally in Marathi, which was later translated into English.
The woman lives with her mother, younger brother and younger sister in the family. She has been living in Mumbai for the past 10 years and she is looking for a groom who has a house in Mumbai and also works/has a business in the city. According to her preference, the groom must be a surgeon, a chartered accountant, or have his own firm in the city. Those working corporate/government jobs should be in a senior position.
In cases of guys who live abroad, she would prefer those living in Europe, especially Italy.
