A Couple In Mumbai Was Filmed Having Sex On A Road Divider In Marine Drive, Video Goes Viral

India as a country is very hush hush about all things sex. Hell, we don’t even have a sex education at school! And given the disapproving looks, if not worse, Indian couples are forced to explore their sexuality in extreme secrecy. But not everyone has the luxury of being able to afford a hotel room or the luck to find an apartment with non-nosy neighbours. So, certain public spaces in cities become the designated make-out spots, like Mumbai’s Marine Drive.

One adventurous couple though decided to take things a few steps further. Some people get off on having sex in unusual spaces, but these guys probably top the list.

A video making the rounds on the internet, shows a couple allegedly having sex, on a road divider in Mumbai’s Marine Drive area in Nariman point.

The video shows vehicles zooming by on the busy road past the woman and what looks like a shirtless foreign male. While many passers-by chose to ignore the bizarre scene, some took out their phones and filmed the passionate scene. Meanwhile, someone informed the police and a police van arrived on site soon.

As the van pulls in nearby, and a couple of officers approach them, the couple got up adjusting their clothes and attempted to flee the spot.

However, the female half of the daring duo wasn’t very lucky in her escape. According to Times Of India, the woman who appears to be in her 30’s, was caught and taken to the Marine Drive police station, while the man managed to get away.

DCP Manoj Kumar Sharma was quoted as:

“The woman seems to be mentally unstable. She was unable to tell her address or contact number of any of her relatives or where she resided.”

She initially claimed to be from Goa, and the Mumbai police tried contacting the Goan police to gain further information. But it was in vain, as the woman later changed her address and kept giving evasive answers. When female officers attempted to dress her, the woman refused to co-operate. She also refuted any allegations of having sex, saying that they were in fact just kissing.

The DCP continues:

“We don’t know her residential address and are trying to search for it. As of now she has been sent to the women’s home in Chembur.”

NDTV reports that the incident occurred between the Air India Building and Marine Hotel Plaza, on the Marine Drive stretch, just a few metres from the Maharashtra state government headquarters. No charges have been pressed yet as the police scan the CCTV footage in the area, and check local hotels and Foreigners Regional Registration Office to track the man.

Well, this is one way to spice up your sex life I suppose. I can just imagine the indignant looks by all the aunties who may have passed by the scene. This is definitely going to be the main topic of discussion at their next kitty parties!
