10 Reasons Why It’s High Time Someone Created Some #MomsDayMagic

Do you believe in unicorns or dragons or any other magical creatures? Hell yes! But there’s a magical person living right with you, ever noticed her? C’mon, don’t say you haven’t? Well, it’s your MOM. The magic their mere presence weaves is something that cannot be explained in words. Nor can their extremely unconditional love. For all the things that they have done and for all the love they have given us and continue to do so, we all should create some magic for our lovely moms. Don’t you simply agree?

This was such a memory-stirrer. And we can’t help but reminisce all the cute and quirky reasons why our moms are the most special ones and deserve some magic.

1. The way they call us cute names; be it Pappu, Rani, Raja beta, Bacchu, Rajkumar, Princess or Prince, Lado, Baby and a string of ever-changing names.

 

2. The way they constantly tell us to eat and have something. And, when they say ‘kuch khaya nahi kya? Bohot kamzor lag rahe ho!’

 

3. Their magical touch. After a long or a bad day, a simple thapki from them makes all the stress go choomantar. And, their laps are magical realms.

 

4. The way they scolded us when we were at fault and how they made us understand the difference between right and wrong.

 

5. The way they would want to talk to us when we were holed up in our novels, PCs, laptops or watching the TV. What was then irritating, in hindsight, is really cute.

 

6. The way they worry and panic when we are not home on time or are working late.

 

7. The look they give us or the way they scream at us for emptying bottles in the fridge and not filling them up.

 

8. When she tells us to bring some dhaniya on our way home.

 

9. After a half an hour long video call, the way they say, ‘Accha ek baat aur’.

 

10. The way they beam with happiness when we come home for a vacation after a long time.

Most importantly, because she is the reason why we exist.
