1 April. A day that is celebrated the world over by fooling people. While we admit that April Fool’s Day is fun, it is the pranks played the rest of the year that are infinitely more satisfying. Because they are unexpected and elicit the most priceless reactions. If you too like the idea of mischief and want to trick your loved ones, there are plenty of practical jokes you can take inspiration from.
You could text your dad that you’ve accidentally poured olive oil in his car. Or if you have time for something more elaborate, you could go all out disguising Brussel sprouts as Ferrero Rocher chocolates.
TikTok user @refelicity shaped a piece of carrot to look like a finger and covered it with red liquid to resemble blood. She then proceeded to prank her sons into thinking she chopped off her finger.

The video which has been doing the rounds on Twitter brilliantly captures the horrified reaction of her kids. The younger one is so panicked that he places a strainer/sieve on top of the severed finger. The older one grabs a towel and covers the whole mess but later catches on after spotting the phone that is recording the entire scene.
This is how people reacted to the hilarious joke and the adorably scared reaction of the younger son.
