From abusive partners to toxic families, everyone has their reasons. But people on the subreddit r/India on Reddit wanted to know what led Indian men to get a divorce after most women opined that they got divorced because of abusive or controlling husbands.

Genetical complications.
She is a controlling freak.
Marrying for money.
Suicide threats.
Constant nagging.
Religious differences.
Too much involvement of in-laws.
Extra-marital affair.
Her way or the highway.
Got promoted at work and didn’t need to depend on the husband anymore.
Found out that the wife was lesbian.
Zero commitment.
These are some valid and some OTT reasons to split with a person. But if you’re not feeling it, it’s always better to go the divorce way. Treating it as a taboo and thinking ‘log kya kahenge’ always ends up hurting the couple. Society doesn’t give a damn TBH!
