Once A Mechanic But Today He Owns 22 Flats In World’s Tallest Building, Burj Khalifa.

The magic formula of making it big, you ask? Start small.
Yes. That’s pretty much it. Here’s the proof.

George V Nereaparambil, who was a mechanic by profession is today believed to be the largest private owner of 22 flats in the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

For George, it started as a joke with a friend. A friend mocked him a picture of Burj Khalifa and said, “see this is the Burj Khalifa, a building you can not even enter.”

Today, Mr. Nereaparambil owns 22 flats out of 900 that are built in the building.

He kept a look out for the opening of a tenant in the building. He rented a flat as soon as something opened up and started living there the very next day. Today, out of 22, he has rented 5 apartments and is waiting for the right tenants for the rest of them.

However, his journey thus far hasn’t been an easy one. George V Nereaparambil set foot in the Middle East in the year 1976 and he realised that there was a very serious opportunity in the air conditioning business in the UAE.

He started his journey in 1977 by selling spare parts of air conditioners and working on the maintenance of the machines. Step by step, he built his empire and established Geo Electrical Trading and Contracting Company in the year 1984.

Over 34 years in the business, Mr. Nereaparambil is a true visionary. He is also a family man and a philanthropist. He says that he owes his success to wife, Mrs. Molly George.

Honestly, the key to making it big is to start small. There are no shortcuts. Mr. Nereaparambil has come a long way and every Indian should be proud of his journey.
