McDonald’s Sends Thoughtful Note & Doesn’t Charge Customer For Order Made From A Hospital

Apart from the clickbait offers, spam messages, and offers on month ends, companies that coax customers to share their personal information with them hardly send anything that’s thoughtful and beneficial to the customers. Having said that, there are some companies that are putting this data to good use.

Taking to LinkedIn, one Dom Mernock shared a picture of a note from multinational fast food chain McDonald’s in the UAE that came with a parcel ordered online by someone. Via the note, the fastfood biggie checked upon the person who made the order because it was ordered from a hospital. They also didn’t charge the person for the order.

This is what the note read:

“Hello! We’ve seen that you’ve placed your order from the hospital. Hope you’re keeping well. Your order is on us. TheMcDonald’s UAE Team.”

Dom Mernock was amazed to see how the outlet took care of its cutomer and put the data collected to excellent use.

While it’s unclear if Dom was the one who received the note, it did attract diverse reactions from people online.

I think it’s sweet of McD to check on their customers like this. What do you think? Share your thoughts with us.
