Man Applies For A Job At A Pizzeria, Then Decides To Rob The Place Instead

Every time a crime is committed, police officials put on their detective hats to identify the culprit. And, while they might find solid evidence at the crime scene, it’s seldom possible that they will discover the personal information of the person involved.

Speaking of which, in a bizarre incident, a man applying for a job at a pizza place in Pennsylvania decided to rob it instead. The strangest part about the theft? Well, it happened right after the suspect had filled out his job application that included personal information like his name, and address, reports FoxNews.

Nicholas M. Mark, 22, apparently had a change of heart while applying for the job and instead decided to steal the restaurant’s tip jar. He used a knife to threaten an employee as he ran out of the pizzeria with the jar that contained about $220 (approx. Rs.16,000), reports NDTV.

Apart from the filled-out job application, he also left behind a backpack that had several items with his name on them. The bag had syringes and other potential drug paraphernalia like razor blades and cotton swabs.
