‘Lust Stories’, both part one and part two, are anthology films that are much more than just sex. A lot of people tend to treat it as ‘soft porn’, but it is really not. They explore lust, sensuality, desire, desirability, female bodies, pleasure, attraction and so much more through a female character’s perspective.
‘Lust Stories’ part 2 went where part 1 didn’t. It explored the various shades of grey between consensual and non-consensual sex and the completely black area of rape and sexual predatory tendencies. So to view the four-part film just for the sex scenes, which include non-consensual physical acts, is deeply messed up.
A Twitter user shared the time stamps of the sex scenes in the film ranging from those of Mrunal Thakur, Tamannaah Bhatia, Amruta Subhash and Kajol and told “bros” to thank him later. The tweet has nearly 3 million views and 12K bookmarks.

People online, especially women, were left disgusted by this because Tamannaah Bhatia’s scene was borderline non-consensual and with a sexual predator, while Kajol’s scene with downright marital rape.
