While Bollywood number crunchers scream like teenage girls when a movie crosses the 100 crore mark, the Indo-Chinese venture ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ might just make these box office pundits hoarse.

‘Kung Fu Yoga’ flopped dismally in India but worked like a Hollywood hit in China, making an unbelievable Rs. 1200 crores in box office collections!

That’s $179 million in American dollars, a legit hit worldwide in terms of pure box office collections.

In comparison, it made less than 4 crores in India on its opening day. And this, after Jackie Chan himself came to India to promote the movie on The Kapil Sharma Show.

It also was critically panned by all major critics and websites.

But hey, it made the filmmakers very, very rich and that’s what matters, right?

Also, Salman Khan and the 100 crore club can feel very good about themselves because an actor like Sonu Sood beat them to the 1000 crore club.
