Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra has been dominating headlines ever since his video “heckling” television journalist Arnab Goswami on an IndiGo flight went viral on the internet. 4 airlines including IndiGo, Spicejet, Air India, and GoAir have banned Kunal Kamra from flying for a considerable amount of time on the grounds of displaying “offensive behavior”.
Since the incident, Kamra has released statements and posted tweets in which he claimed that he is “not sorry” and that he just wants to have an “honest conversation” with Arnab Goswami regarding “his journalism”.
Kunal Kamra recently took to his Instagram to post a screenshot of a message he allegedly sent to Arnab Goswami. He claims to have “found” Arnab’s number and invited him for a debate.
In the text message Kamra says that he wants to have a “civil debate” with Arnab on the “idea of nation” and “who’s a nationalist”. He extends him an “olive branch” and says he only wants a “civil discourse”.
