We live in a beautiful world, there’s so much to explore and look forward to. And to anyone who is a wanderlust at heart, pictures and stories are not good enough – it’s only fun when they get to witness it themselves.
Khushbu Kaushal is just like anyone of us. She is an honest worker and yearns for a vacation to visit countries/places that are on her bucket list. This fall, she decided she wanted to check out the beautiful country of Georgia.
When Khushbu landed in Tbilisi, Georgia on 30th June, she went through what she calls as “the most humiliating night of my life”.
Khushbu was told by a plethora of stories on the web, that Georgia is a wonderful country for solo women travellers. But her account of only 9 hours in that country, leaves us feeling very different. She wrote a Facebook post and said –
Khushbu Kaushal
We understand that immigration is a tough process and every country has a certain rule-book to go by. But we also come to understand that Khushbu Kaushal complied by all the rules and co-operated throughout the process.
Treating fellow humans like filth cannot be humanity, can it be? Nine hours of relentless torture, shouting and fear, that is what Ms Kaushal had to go through. Are we living in a world where we value life more than anything else? I think so.
