Fashion Magazine Shares Allegedly Edited Pic Of Kareena, People Ask, “Where Are Her Knees?”

Photo-editing softwares are amazing tools which people use to hilariously insert themselves in celebrity photos or create rib-tickling memes. However, some people go overboard and take things too far. For example, when Kartik Aaryan sported heavily photoshopped fake abs in a commercial and cricketer Smriti Mandhana’s picture was edited to look fairer than the original.

Now, a fashion magazine has come under the scanner after allegedly sharing an excessively edited image of Kareena Kapoor Khan. Check it out.

After the picture was posted on Instagram, social media users slammed the magazine for allegedly retouching her calves and airbrushing her legs to such an extent that her knees were no longer visible. Some people claimed that she looked like a mannequin while others pointed out that her shadow had been left out which showed her real calves.

Here are some of the reactions to the post which call out the unrealistic standards of beauty being propagated through digital alterations.

Earlier, a UK-based magazine named Maxim faced flak for allegedly photoshopping Priyanka Chopra’s armpit and making it unrealistically smooth and creaseless. It is high time celebrity photos and covers stop being excessively retouched, don’t you think?
