There was a time when we used to see mainstream, big, and successful female actors who were at the peak of their careers giving up everything or taking a long break from doing films after they got married or had a baby. Names like Jaya Bachchan, Kajol, Preity Zinta, and Dia Mirza immediately come to mind.
But many of them have made their comebacks and how, Rani Mukerji and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for example. But nowadays, the younger generation of female actors are continuing with their work despite being pregnant – like Alia Bhatt or Anushka Sharma and Kareena Kapoor Khan, whom we saw earlier.

Kareena Kapoor not just worked in films but also walked on ramps in big fashion shows and did brand photoshoots all while being pregnant. It never stopped her career. Instead, she soared even higher.
In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Bebo claimed that when she was about to get married, people said that her career would be over.
“Of course, people were always like don’t get married it’ll be over. But I’m saying that these are things that are now of course I did and then now it’s cool to be married and now it’s fine. But the whole idea is that you have to do things when you want to do them.”

However, her statement, “I did and then now it’s cool to be married”, invited a lot of criticism online where people started calling her “arrogant” and “self-absorbed”.
Even in the popular Reddit subreddit r/BollyBlindsNGossip, many called her out and cracked jokes at her expense.
