“I Do Regret Skipping Education,” A Candid Kareena Kapoor Khan Makes An Honest Admission

‘Kapoor Khandaan’ is the most prominent Bollywood family in the nation. From Prithviraj Kapoor to Ranbir Kapoor, the family has given a lot to Hindi cinema. To make a career in the Hindi film industry is a given when you are born in a family like the Kapoors’ and the same happened with Kareena Kapoor Khan who always dreamt of being a part of the film industry as a kid.

In a recent interview, Kareena made an honest admission by saying that she used to skip school to attend her sister Karisma’s shoots but she regrets skipping education now.

“I do regret skipping education . I meet Saif and his friends, and I feel like we get stuck in this whole thing of movies and monies, without having anything else to fall back on.”

 

Kareena praised her husband, Saif Ali Khan for his views on the importance of education for his children. She mentioned how his family and friends are well-read scholars from institutes like Oxford and Cambridge.

“He is so particular about academics with his kids, Sara and Ibrahim as well, and I am happy that he will be so with this child too.”

 

Kareena also talked about how she has now started to explore new horizons in her life by pursuing things other than acting.

“I come from a family which has been obsessed with the movies, but as I have grown older, I have realised there is more to life than just that. Now I try to travel, meet different people, explore new things. And I want that for my child.”

This candid revelation by Kareena is a real bold statement. Her admission is a lesson for everyone to acknowledge the importance of education in their life.
