TV actor, 38-year-old Karan Mehra recently made news when his estranged wife Nisha Rawal had him arrested from his Mumbai home for allegedly assaulting her. However, he was soon let out on bail. In an earlier interview, Nisha alleged that he’d taken control of her finances and would transfer money from her account.
TOI reports that she recently contacted the Goregaon police to register a case of cheating against Karan. Her latest complaint is that Mehra allegedly withdrew Rs 1 crore from her bank account.
It was Friday night when Nisha headed to the cops on finding the money missing from her account. The police subsequently revealed they’ve registered an FIR against Karan as well as two of his family members.
On May 31, Karan was arrested after Nisha alleged that he’d assaulted her during a fight. This is the second time Nisha has registered a complaint against her estranged husband.
