Kanika Kapoor Discharged From Lucknow Hospital After 6th Coronavirus Test Shows Negative

Last month, Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor had been diagnosed with COVID-19 after her return from London. She was one of the first 4 people to be infected with the virus in Lucknow. However, controversy emerged when it was brought to light that the Baby Doll singer had attended 3 high-society parties after her return, making hundreds of others susceptible to the disease. Several politicians went into self-isolation in fear of having contracted the virus.

However, Kanika Kapoor has been discharged from Lucknow’s Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences after her 6th coronavirus test came out negative, reports Hindustan Times.

According to a report by NDTV, even after “complete recovery”, Kanika Kapoor is subjected to home-quarantine for the next two weeks.

The 3 FIRs against Kanika Kapoor on the account of ‘negligence’ remains.

We wish Kanika Kapoor and her family good health and hope that they still abide by precautionary protocols against the coronavirus.
