Kangana Ranaut has certainly had quite a tumultuous journey in Bollywood ever since she debuted in Anurag Basu’s directorial Gangster. Well, it’s been 15 years since the release of the movie and Ranaut has since starred in several other memorable movies.
Four National Awards later, Kangana now looks back upon her journey in films and happened to compare her path with none other than Shah Rukh Khan. She tweeted-
15 years ago Gangster released today, Shahrukh Khan ji and mine are the biggest success stories ever but SRK was from Delhi, convent educated and his parents were involved in films, I did not know a single word of English, no education, came from a remote village of HP and 1/2 pic.twitter.com/CEw72pvtds

She spoke of her modest beginnings and pointed out that she hailed from a small hamlet in Himachal Pradesh. Furthermore, she alleged that SRK started out privileged. Kangana further tweeted,
Every step was a battle starting with my own father and grandfather, who made my life miserable, and yet 15 years later after so much success still every day is a fight for survival but totally worth it, thank you everyone 🙏 #15yearsofgangster

Many appreciated her for paving her own way in the industry.

Why compare yourself with @iamsrk , its futile and useless to do so. His care & share is for himself & his entourage. I haven't seen him talk on anything which concerns the country or issues faced by the countrymen, so need not compare with him unless you want to join his group.
