Attention Manchester United fans. The moment has arrived.
After just 144 games in charge at the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford, club manager Jose Mourinho has been sacked by the iconic English club. Mourinho’s future at the club was under immense scrutiny with the team toiling at the 6th position in the Premier League table, two away from securing a Uefa Champions League spot.
Manchester United took to Twitter to announce the gigantic decision on Tuesday as they wished the Portuguese, best of luck for his future. The club reached a conclusion after their humiliating defeat against Liverpool at Anfield.

Since joining the Red Devils in 2006, Jose’s trophy cabinet at Manchester boasts of the EFL Cup, FA-Community Shield, and the prestigious Europa League. However, his recent failures to put the Premier League giants at par with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool have finally led to his ousting.
The emphatic decision drew mixed reactions on Twitter as fans flooded the social media platforms with their opinions. While some came in support of the legendary manager for his better record than his recent predecessors, the others trolled him for his big mouth and unsuccessful tenure at United.

Then again, there is a question that remains. Was Mourinho the fault in the system or was it the underperforming players? We hope to get the answer soon.
