India is a land of possibilities. When I say possibilities, I mean the abundant scope and probability of hearing/seeing/coming across things that belong to the Pandora’s box. Things that are not just rare but incredibly funny in nature.

Yes, there is a reason I’m giving India all the credit that is due. Also, nothing is funnier than the incident I’m about to divulge.

So it all started when Japan’s Ambassador to India, Kenji Hiramatsu, was in UP to meet the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath.

Little did he know, his car was being towed by the diligent UP traffic cops, who honestly were just doing their duty.

According to a TOI report, a white SUV was spotted stranded at Vidhan Bhawan Annexe. Traffic cops towed the vehicle and took it to Hazratganj Kasmanda House to issue a ‘challan’ of wrong parking. ASP (traffic) Habibul Hasan said,

“However, no challan was issued and the vehicle was released at 2.44pm.”

Challan or no challan, it must have been embarrassing for the Japan envoy, no? Meanwhile, UP traffic police, take a bow!
