Artist Ipsitaa Just Released Her First Original Song And It’s A Melodious Journey Worth Taking!

Imagine sitting at your desk and daydreaming about just taking off to be with yourself and enjoying whatever comes your way!

That very excitement, coupled with the fear of the unknown, are the emotions that performing artist Ipsitaa’s first original single ‘The Journey’ is inspired from!

With music by the amazing Ranjit Barot and lyrics penned by Ipsitaa herself, the song reminds you of a Disney ballad, with touches of Hindustani classical music woven beautifully in the middle.

Ipsitaa is an emerging talent and has been receiving lots of love for her melodious vocal skills on social media as well!

Born in Chandigarh (a place she still calls home) and raised in nine different cities across the world, 20-year-old Ipsitaa began singing even before she could talk!

She’s trained in Indian Classical, Western, Rock, Pop, and Opera music, and is greatly inspired by Sarah Brightman, Lara Fabian, Barbra Streisand, Beyoncé, and Sunidhi Chauhan. Her music talents are also heavily influenced by Michael Bublé, Colbie Caillat in the Western Pop genre and Geeta Dutt, Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in Hindi music.

Currently, Ipsitaa is a final year undergraduate at the prestigious Yale University, USA, pursuing a double major in Economics and Psychology. She’s also a trained Kathak dancer and theatre artist/actor taking classes at and performing for the Yale School of Drama.

Ipsitaa’s soulful voice has done justice to some amazing mashups and covers of popular American classics and Bollywood songs.
