It gives me a headache whenever I see families, society, and pados wali auntiya trying to influence a person’s choice when it comes to ‘settling down’, having a baby, going for a divorce, etc.
Recently, when Alia Bhatt delivered a baby girl, people on social media became like those annoying distant relatives who could be seen mindlessly chattering about others in a public gathering.

Many like Kamaal R Khan (KRK) tried to shame the couple for having a baby seven months after their wedding. Taking things a notch higher, a reputed media organization, India Today, made a video wherein they compiled a list of celebs who embraced pregnancy out of wedlock.
In the video, they even captioned that Alia wasn’t the first actress who was pregnant before her wedding. From Neena Gupta to Neha Dhupia, Sarika (Kamal Haasan’s former wife), and Natasha Stankovic, these women made it to the list where they broke the ‘stereotype’ of motherhood.

Was this really needed? What are they trying to highlight here? More than an empowering and inspiring post, it’s coming out as problematic and derogatory to people online. This is what they had to say on watching this gold standard of journalism.
You have no business to comment on their personal life. This is definitely not Gold Standard of Journalism.

Procreation is biological process resulting from sexual act between two consenting adults, male and female.
Marriage has nothing to do in this process.
Marriage is only a social construct to grant legitimacy to the offspring of above process, in inheritance.
Now don’t be cringe.— मिथ्यानंद🚜 (@MithyaNand) November 8, 2022
Have you no shame, @IndiaToday ?

Delivering a baby- good but useless reporting
Seven months after her wedding – nasty , moralistic reporting. It’s not your business!

Breaking stereotypes on motherhood is surely not something they wanted to do. To the lucky ones, it happened on genuine promises, steel strength commitments and a sense of responsibility by both.
Regardless, it’s an extremely private thing and frankly none of anybody’s business.

Whether one conceives before marriage or without marriage is one's personal choice.
But it is disgusting that woke sadakchhaap pervert media full of low IQ jokers is shaming crores of mothers who marry and then conceive.
Kudos to such women due to whom family values sustain. https://t.co/mzbbdw7mAJ

Gold standard of (im)moral journalism.
The only ones to be shamed is not Alia Bhatt or Ranbir Kapoor. It’s these trads at @IndiaToday. Sickening level of moral policing n shaming. https://t.co/U7tdVP3Z9R

Evidently, neither people nor Indian media understand boundaries, privacy, and respecting one’s privacy. We really need to grow up and grow sensible, TBH!
