Students Of IIT Roorkee Talk About HOW Their Epic Dance Video Went Totally Viral

When we picture a typical IIT campus in our heads, we inadvertently think about students doing nothing but studying day and night.

We picture them as nerds, completely devoid of any other talent than solving complex equations and cracking the CAT successfully.

But the viral IIT Roorkee dance video shed a light on the other aspect of the IIT-ians, where they are dancing and it ACTUALLY looks like they are having fun. And that is what made it go viral on the Internet getting more than 3 million views. It got so popular that even the international websites were covering it.

The creators of the video came forth and spoke about their experience. They said that the world has it wrong when they think that IIT-ians only study.

“It’s a huge misconception that IIT-ians just study. We also have hobbies and passions.”

And their dream is not always about getting huge packages either.

For the creators of the video, it was the happiest time they had spent in college. And if you thought it was easy, it wasn’t. They spent 2 hours every day for a month working on the video.

“In the last one-and-a-half years that I joined this place, this was the most enjoyable project that I ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of the making.”

So you see, not everything about IIT is about studies. The students did a brilliant job of showing the fun side of IITs by making this video.
