Husband Becomes A ‘Chair’ For His Pregnant Wife & Lets Her Sit On Him At The Hospital

Only a pregnant woman can explain how it feels to watch a life growing inside of her. From sleepless nights to motion sickness, to mid-night cravings, swollen feet and backaches she goes through all this and more. That is why they need extra care, love and affection. And this Chinese man taking care of his pregnant wife shows how it is done.

The couple were on their daily visit to the hospital to take some tests. But they had to wait for quite a long time before their turn would arrive. The soon-to-be mother tried her best to stand patiently waiting for her turn while other visitors to the hospital occupied the seats nearby. But the heavily pregnant mother soon started getting tired and her legs got numb, reported South China Morning Post.

Since no one agreed to offer their seat to the expecting mother, her husband became a ‘human chair’ to make his wife comfortable.

In the video that was recorded on the hospital’s CCTV camera and has been circulating on the internet, the man is seen sitting on the floor and bending his back so that his wife can sit on him and rest her aching legs.

It is touching to see that the husband did all he could to comfort his wife carrying their baby. But it’s disappointing to see that no one around agreed to offer their seat to the lady.

People on the internet applauded the husband’s gesture but also highlighted how insensitive the world has become.

Be it in any public transport or a public place, we have also witnessed people refusing to give up their seats to elderly, ailing or pregnant individuals. Wouldn’t the world be a better place if people started showing a little bit of care and affection towards those in need?
