Hugh Jackman is a people’s favourite superhero. And, for this Wolvie hottie, any girl would willingly play the damsel in distress just so that she’s rescued by the adamantium-man. In real-life, Zac Efron got to experience what’s it like being rescued by the Australian star.
It so happened that things got pretty intense on the sets of Hugh-Zac starrer ‘The Greatest Showman’. They were shooting a staged fire sequence on the sets and Zac recalled,
“It started to get late, and some of the pyrotechnics got a little bit too hot. We burst out of the building. It looked great on camera. We didn’t know it [during the stunt], but it was pretty intense. I watched playback, and he saved me from a burning building. It later exploded that night. It was a set, but it later burned down.”
Zac said in a zest,
“It was pretty awesome. Hugh Jackman saving you from a burning building? It’s every girl’s dream.”
Hell, yeah, it is! We are waiting for a day like that when Hugh comes to our rescue. #Haaye
The film is based on Barnum & Bailey Circus’ founder P T Barnum, who will be portrayed by Jackman. The musical will hit the screens on Christmas.
Watch Zac speaking about it at CinemaCon.
