2. A Quiet Place

“If they can’t hear you, they can’t hunt you”. Directed by John Krasinski, it stars him along-with, Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds. They live in a quiet place without making a sound, in order to survive. The teaser is creeping the hell out of me.

3. Winchester: The House That Ghosts Built

Umm, isn’t the name enough? Academy Award winner Helen Mirren and actor Jason Clarke starrer horror flick is going to put your heart in your mouths. There castle has 500 rooms and demons and spirits and ghosts. Why would someone live there? Huh?

4. The Nun

Remember Valak? Of course, you do. This is the nun’s back story, and take my money, this is going to be one of the scariest films of the year. It’s the fifth installment in The Conjuring series. *mentally preparing for July 2018*

5. The New Mutants

From the house of Marvel comes a superhero-horror movie that is making us suppress our screams with our hands over our mouths.

Helmed by Josh Boone ( the man behind The Fault In Our Stars), the film is a spin-off of the X-Men series and is the eleventh film in the franchise. It stars Maise Williams as Wolfsbane, Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik, Charlie Heaton as Cannonball, Henry Zaga as Sunspot and Blu Hunt as Mirage.

The film is releasing on a Friday which is a 13th! Coincidental, much?

6. The Strangers: Prey at Night

Sequel to the 2008 film The Strangers, this one promises strangeness just like the predecessor did. Well, we’re going to be prepared. This time a family of four are visited by the 3 strangers.

7. Selfie From Hell

The German film has wowed, rather scared, all at the Cannes film festival and it is prepping for a worldwide release. It started out as a 2-minute horror film in 2015 and has now been turned into a full-length feature film. We are not sure about the release date, but waiting for its release.

8. Anne

This be the story of a mentally-ill woman who has severe personality disorder. Insomniac, her strange relationship with dolls is concerning her son, who tries to unravel the truth.

9. Halloween

The slasher/horror is about a woman’s final confrontation with the masked figure that has haunted her since four decades. It all happened on Halloween night.

10. The Meg

This one’s a sci-fi, action horror film that involves a shark. Yep! Jaws feel, right? But, let’s give it a benefit of the doubt, and see how it is. The star cast with Jason Staton and Ruby Rose is stellar and we have to see it how scary the ride is.

11. I Spit On Your Grave Deja Vu

This is the fifth installment in the series around the 1978 starrer and is the only one that shares characters continuity. It is about Jennifer Hills’s deja vu nightmares about her rape ordeal.

12. Slender Man

It’s about a young orphan, Lewis Barnavelt who aids his magical uncle in locating a clock that will bring about the end of the world.
