This beautiful, beautiful rendition of the heartbreak of a young man by the commitment-phobic girl he falls in love with is just ethereal and a real treat to watch. It’s probably the only movie which shows us how to really handle a breakup and not really damning the other person. Everybody comes in our lives for a reason.

A messy break-up renders a couple to erase their memories of each other. Jim Carrey, heartbroken because his girlfriend (Kate Winslet) removes all memory of him, does the same. And slowly realizes that memories are not meant to be conveniently erased and all he really wants is her.
