FIFA U-17 World cup is starting today and in honour of the occasion, our very own Mamata Didi has a special treat for all of us. If you didn’t already know it’s not the first time that Mamata Banerjee has made the news for her artistic creations. Once her painting was sold for 1.8 crore rupees. Underrated artiste?
Putting her talents to good use, Didi conceptualised and designed a masterpiece for the U-17 FIFA World cup 2017. The headless footballer has three balls on him and is on display in Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.
