Unlike the west, desi weddings are HUGE in every department. It is almost impossible to have a small-scale wedding when you have huge families. Even “intimate” weddings have 100-200 attendees and to cut out people from the guest list can be a hard task. There was a time when ladkewaale and ladkiwaale used to book buses and cars for relatives to travel.
However, one guy took things up a notch when he booked an entire flight from Janakpur to Kathmandu for his family and relatives to reach the wedding venue. In two videos that were shared by an Instagram account @theshubhwedding, the groom’s huge family is seen dancing their way from the departure gate to the plane.

In another video, we see the entire family seated inside the plane and cheering for their journey. The groom, Bhuwan is seated too with mehendi on his hands, waiting to land and bring his bride, Shagun, home.
