According to Times Now, the groom almost got married to the wrong woman after they were led to a different location by Google Maps. Apparently, there were two ceremonies, a wedding, and an engagement, happening at the same time on the same day in a village.

Confused by all the preparations, the groom’s party entered the venue that was hosting the engagement. They even started exchanging gifts until one of them realized that they were at the wrong venue.

“My family welcomed them and they proceeded to exchange gifts. They said they were led to the house by Google Maps,” said Ulfa, the 27-year-old woman whose engagement was crashed.

She added that she wasn’t aware that another groom has entered her house as she was getting her makeup done. She further informed that her fiancé and his group got late as they stopped on the way in search of a restroom. “I was shocked when I saw the man’s group as I did not know any of them,” she quipped.

On realizing about the gaffe, the group apologized and left the spot embarrassed. Ulfa’s family also helped the groom’s party reach the correct venue.

Earlier, thieves in Maharashtra used Google Maps to loot houses in Karnataka. Peeps at Google, please update your app with correct routes yaar. A disaster was about to happen. 😜
