“You Are Fooled By Google Maps”, Says Banner In Goa For People Who Get Lost Finding Baga Beach

Your trip to Goa can’t be complete without a pleasant time under the sun at the ever-so-popular Baga beach. However, the road leading to the North Goa beach, can be confusing, if you are a first timer. And even if you take the help of your all-time buddy, Google Maps, it is not always spot on. Is it?

So, to make the journey to Baga, easy and simple for visitors, people in Goa have put up a banner, warning you about the direction.

In a tweet shared by Twitter user, Sumanth Raj Urs, we can see a banner hung above a road saying that it is not the way leading to the Baga beach. It also adds that if you are standing at the point, you have been misled by Google Maps! Therefore, you need to turn back and take a left turn to reach the location.

This is because people are actually experiencing a problem heading to the Baga with the help of Google Maps. It is nothing but a little goof up by the app which apparently takes you a kilometer off the place when you ask for the directions.

The picture has managed to leave people in splits. While some hailed the poster and the people behind it for the help, the others recalled times when they were fooled by Google Maps.

There can be a good movie named “Fooled by Google Maps”.

Absolutely need such banners. When it comes to route by walk it takes ppl through some crazy roads 😂
In Jodhpur, we wanted to walk on a downhill path but the route suggested was from the roof of a house to the road below and we were just shocked 😂🤣
