“Karan Johar Is More Jealous And Dangerous Than David Dhawan,” Says Govinda

Aa gaya Govinda! The 90s superstar Govinda is back with his home production ‘Aa Gaya Hero’. Vying for a March 3 release, Govinda is on a promotional spree for his latest venture. He was pretty miffed with Karan Johar for not calling him on ‘Koffee with Karan’ and recently, thrashed the filmmaker.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Govinda was asked whether or not he’d be taking the couch. He said,

“He (Karan) must have said that it would be a matter of national respect for him if he calls Govinda, but he is releasing Varun’s (Dhawan) film just a week after my film. He shows that he’s very humble and innocent, but woh mujhe David (Dhawan) se zyaada jealous and zyaada khatarnak lagta hai.“

 

Chi Chi further called him more vicious than David Dhawan.

“He has never called me in 30 years, he doesn’t see actors who are not the part of his group and doesn’t even say a hello, I doubt. He’s not that kind-hearted. It’s a well-planned and smart move by Karan that he’s releasing his film a week after mine. Mujhe woh kabhi seedha nahi lagta hai.”

 

There were pretty strong rumours that this season, Govinda would be invited to KWK. But that’s not happening and K’Jo had apologised saying that there was a talk of getting him on the show. He had also said that it would be an honour to have him on the show. K’Jo had clarified that he had no intentions of hurting the terrific artist.

But, looks like that boat has sailed Karan.

In the past, Govinda had a pretty ugly fallout with David Dhawan and had been vocal about it. Is Karan the new David Dhawan?
