Since more than 2 weeks, Kashmir has been witnessing severe cold waves. This has led to not just incessant snowfall but also the freezing of the famous Dal Lake, reports ABP. The temperature has dropped to -6 degree celsius and has turned the popular tourist destination into a winter wonderland!
People online have been sharing pictures and videos of the gorgeous Dal Lake. The water is covered by layers of ice which seems to have halted the smooth movement of Shikaras. But the view, nonetheless, is stunning! Have a look:
