Father Describes Football Match To Blind Son, People Call Him A ‘Great Dad’

Watching a football match right in front of your eyes amidst a packed stadium is a different kind of feeling altogether. Imagine being a part of an energy much larger than yourself. To be able to see thousands of people coming together, to be able to hear them cheering for their favourite players is a memorable experience. Alas, not everyone can enjoy the full experience of something they are passionate about.

Sebastian is a beautiful boy and a great football fan. He is also blind. But thanks to his optimistic father, Sebastian was able to get the full experience of a football match in the stadium.

According to a report by The Indian Express, a video of the father describing the football match to Sebastian has gone viral on the internet. The video was recorded during a match played at the Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez in Barranquilla, Colombia. The duo was spotted wearing Junior FC jerseys.

The video was shared by an Instagram fan account of the team.

They wrote, “Being in the Metropolitan Stadium I could appreciate the passion and love that a father feels towards his son. It is the same love they feel for the Junior team. Sebastian is a beautiful child with visual impairment, but this does not prevent him from feeling the passion for his team. His father with dedication and commitment describes each one that touches and plays the ball.”
