Remember as a child when your father told you, “You’ll always be daddy’s little princess.” Well, he meant it. A father-daughter relationship is the most beautiful bond on this planet. And, just like the movie ‘Taken’, a father will do anything to protect his little girl.
So it goes without saying when a daughter asks for help during a stressful wedding chore, her father will definitely be there for her. Recently, a father in Portland surprised his daughter by queuing up outside a wedding dress store in the middle of the night, reports Indian Express. Elisa Ray had invited her dad for a wedding dress sale to get her dream dress for a discounted price.
Have a look at her tweet:
So I invited my dad to a wedding dress event where all dresses are $150. The event starts at 7am but lines can form at 4am.
My Dad just called me and said he brought a chair and is the first person outside the building already waiting….. ITS 2:55AM.— Elisa Ray (@elisista33) January 25, 2020
Elisa had found the ultimate sale where all the wedding dresses were up for grabs for just $150 dollars(Rs.10,000 approximately). The event was supposed to start at 7 am but for obvious reasons, shoppers were allowed to form lines at 4 am.
She had asked for her father’s help to take turns in the line but was surprised when she realized he was among the first few people waiting at the store. She then shared a video of her dad outside the store, sitting comfortably on a chair, drinking coffee.

Your dad wins at being the best ever! Wow! He loves his baby girl so much! Reminds me of my daddy who passed four years ago. I miss him, but hearing your story brings such joy to my heart–and reminds me of my daddy! Thanks for sharing the love! Congratulations! 😊

Others got reminded of their own dads & shared their precious moments together:
I don’t know why this reminds me of the time I was in hs and my dad took the day off work to get me nirvana tickets. And he was first in line. lol I love a good dad.

A few years ago my dad surprised me by standing in line for 8 hours to get tickets to a benefit concert for me & my husband because I casually expressed that it would’ve been nice to go (but I couldn’t miss work). He didn’t need to take time out of his day but did anyway. 💕

I had gone for an exam into examination hall, dad was waiting outside. He slipped, fell and broke his arm. He waited for me for 1.5 hour outside, instead of going to hospital. He thought I will come out n feel lost if he wasn't there. He said,I will drive,u must be tired after exam.
