A big part of weddings these days are the aesthetics and backdrops. From beach and sundowner wedding functions to picturesque parties out in the midst of the woods, exotic locales are the big things these days.
But guess what, this couple’s wedding photographs trumps ’em all. Maria Hussa Maica Nicerio and her husband Arlo Gerald de la Cruz’s wedding shoot was literally lit with a volcano erupting in the background.
1. According to The Sun, the Mayon volcano erupted just at the opportune moment making their big day extra special.
2. The extraordinary wedding photographs made the day even more unforgettable for the lovebirds.
3. According to Washington Post, Joan Nebreja who manages  Nebreja Brothers Media said, “They were a little bit stressed before the wedding because of the situation. The Mayon Volcano is unpredictable. We don’t know when it will blow or not.”
4. But this duo made the most of a terrifying situation and well, the pictures are drop-dead-gorgeous.
5. Aren’t they taking the whole “death do us apart” situation to another extreme?
6. This is the Mayon volcano and the lava spilling out in full force.
7. Their wedding video is here and the duo really has some breathtaking and thrilling frames.

8. As they say, “the wedding must go on.” Even if they don’t, this Philipino couple sure has lived by this mantra.

We wish the couple a married life full of love and smiles. Some say, “make hay while the sun shines” this couple took the proverb up a notch, don’t you agree?
Also, is now an appropriate time to sing- this girl is on fire?
