This Guy Recreated The Opening Scene Of ‘La La Land’ To Ask Emma Stone To Prom. Genius!

‘La La Land’ might have just missed the Oscar award (that was some goof-up, right?) but the movie earned accolades all over the world. A wonderful story, amazing dance numbers, the cute chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone’s characters, everything in the movie was absolutely top-notch and that’s why people loved it so much.

So, a budding teenage filmmaker combined his love for Emma Stone and ‘La La Land’ to create something brilliant.

Jacob Staudenmaier, a resident of Phoenix, USA loved ‘La La Land’ so much that he went ahead and recreated the opening scene of the movie to ask Emma Stone to be his date for prom (by tweaking the lyrics a bit).

When asked how the idea came to his mind, Jacob said that it was all an impulse that got big.

“It started with the kind of crazy idea of saying, ‘Yeah, maybe I’ll go with Emma Stone to the prom. I decided if I was going to do this, I really needed to do it big.”

 

When asked how will he react if Emma actually says, Jacob said,

“I guess I’ll just have to handle it on the fly. Just roll with it and go with the flow.”

 

And if Emma doesn’t reply or declines Jacob’s offer, he is smart enough to have a backup plan ready.

“I have this girl that I know that says she’d love to go. Even if Emma says yes, she said, she would be completely fine with that.”
