I wonder if there is anything that hasn’t already been said/written about the mighty ‘Game of Thrones.’ Yes, the grim and gripping television series that entire world loves like teenagers love Justin Beiber. Pardon my generalisation but, with the recent development at hand, it is hard not to lose objectivity. In fact, I might just cry.
*wipes a tear*
While there might still be time for the final season (2019, y u so far?), it seems like some members of the cast have already finished filming. Hell, there is a goodbye post coming your way. Do you hear me? Yes, you heard that right.
Emilia Clarke aka Daenerys Targaryen recently took to Instagram to bid farewell to GoT and the land where it all happened.
I can feel your pain!
Thanking the fantasy show ‘for a life she didn’t know she’d be able to live, Emilia wrote,
“Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade. It’s been a trip Game of Thrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing.”
*sobs inconsolably*
She also posted a photo of her and fellow cast members Conleth Hill (Lord Varys), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) and the show’s co-creator D.B. Weiss and it screams ‘Farewell.’
You know what? This is the Winter nobody warned us about. And we’re not sure if we can break the ice without fire, without Khaleesi.
