Remember how Elon Musk and his girlfriend Grimes had named their newborn son X Æ A-12? Well, the couple’s cryptic choice had left many people puzzled as they shared hilarious memes trying to decode the unique name.
And, just as individuals thought they had figured the mystery behind the baby’s name, the couple has changed it. But behold your thoughts if you think that it is a more conventional choice this time. Elon and Grimes have changed their son’s name from X Æ A-12 to X Æ A-Xii.

Wondering what’s the difference or why did they do it? According to The Independent, the couple changed the name of their baby to comply with Californian law. As per the laws in California the names on the birth certificates must be written using the 26 alphabetical letters of the English language. However apostrophes and dashes can be included. So, the couple decided to substitute the numbers with Roman numerals.
This minor name change triggered a meme fest online as people called it a software update.
