Just as we are nearing the Game of Thrones Season 7’s premiere date, our GoT fever is getting stronger. From spoilers to social media stalking, we are doing everything we can to lay our hands on any info we can about season 7.
Now. you may or may not have heard about, our current favourite singer, Ed Sheeran bagging a small-yet-pivotal role in the fantasy drama’s upcoming season.
Getting more info about the same, Ed Sheeran himself dropped a major hint about his character.
In a Daily Star report, Ed was quoted saying,
“I do know which role I am going to play. I don’t die in it, I don’t die.“
Ed said that he wanted to be on the show for like 5 years and finally his wish was granted. He also revealed,
“I’m only in it for like five minutes.”
Probe the ‘Shape of You’ singer further about his role and he says,
“I’d probably prefer to have sex than die in the show. I’m sure a lot of people are into that (have sex and die) but I’m not.”
Well, this is not the first time a star from the music industry has made it to GoT. In the past too, members of Coldplay, Of Mice and Men, Mastodon and Snow Patrol had their cameos.
As for Sheeran’s role, we at least know that he’s shot his sequence with Maisie Williams, who is a yuuugee Sheeran fan. This girl’s Arya Stark of Winterfell and she’s shot with Ed Sheeran.
July 17 is the day, us Indians will be showered seven blessings and season 7 premiere.
