Have you ever witnessed someone intending to do something horrible to a person but it boomerangs right back at them? If not, then this incident might be a revelation.
A 65-year-old man in Kolkata tried to kill his son with a bomb but ended up killing himself after the bomb exploded near him, reports India Today.
The son, however, has been seriously injured by the incident too and is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Local sources have revealed that the 65-year-old man often used to come home drunk, which caused arguments in the family. One day, after the man came back home drunk, his son chided him for being intoxicated.
After the quarrel escalated, the man attacked his son with a crude bomb. When the son tried stopping the man, the bomb fell on the spot and exploded, reports Outlook. Both were severely injured and taken to the hospital. The father, however, was declared dead.
Currently, the police are investigating how the man got hold of a bomb in the first place and are searching the area for other explosives.
Had dangerous explosives not been easily accessible to some, such an incident would not occur in the first place.
