Alcohol can sometimes turn out to be your worst enemy and there is no denying the fact. While there are some who manage to act responsibly after drinking, the others just get carried away and pull off some embarrassing stunt.
And here we have a fuss created by a senior policeman, which definitely falls under the second category.
A senior policeman became the reason behind a crazy scene in Gurugram on Sunday night by parking his Toyota Fortuner SUV in the middle of a road and danced to loud music from the car stereo. According to Zee News, the officer was drunk.
He has been identified as Tarun Dahiya, an inspector in the crime unit of Nuh. The incident took place at the Sheetla Mata Road in Gurugram.
His outrageous act led to a massive traffic jam in the area, with cars forced to stand still on the road. People tried to confront the man and asked him to move his SUV, which was a Fortuner, off the road. However, the officer ignored their request and flaunted his position while continuing the drama.
“I am an inspector and can dance on the road.”
The matter was immediately reported to the Gurugram Police who reached the spot at the earliest. On the team asking him to clear the road, the policeman misbehaved with them instead of obeying their instructions.
According to TOI, as the officer refused to put an end to the scene, he was made to sit in a jeep along with his friend and taken to the sector 5 police station.

Reports claim that the police just filed a report on the matter and allowed Dahiya and his friend to go home after a couple of hours.
It a country which has been a thriving ground for several criminal offenses, the least we can expect is for the authorities and people in charge to act responsibly. And this was nowhere near.
