Several couples all around the world go through many hurdles to find a sperm donor. While some have specific preferences like several British women seeking Danish sperm donors to make ‘Viking babies’, others, unfortunately, get duped like these three families who sued a sperm bank after realizing the donor is actually a psychotic criminal.
As per a report in NY Post, a same-sex influencer couple, have launched a promotional “donor sperm giveaway” on their Instagram, giving one of their 2 lakh followers a chance to win “credit for 1 vial of donor sperm (of your choice)” along with “free shipping” to help them conceive a child. They have partnered with a sperm bank to carry out the competition for US and Canadian citizens. Check out the post here:-
In the post, we see the travel bloggers named Allie Conway and Sam Kwiatkowski standing side-by-side in a loved up picture as they announce the competition. The YouTube couple has been married since last year, The Metro reports.
Some people saw it as a great chance for couples who are currently struggling to conceive or are not in a position to afford any such procedures. Many couples participated, praising the LGBT couple’s idea. Check out some of the comments under their post:-
Sperm is expensive. And you don’t get to judge how people start a family. Fuck of. https://t.co/ah6LZC0eIk

Others, however, had their reservations with the never-seen-before concept in this social media age:-
This is odd, but sperm is expensive so I get it. My main concern is are people just getting a random vial or do they get a credit and get to pick their donor? That really makes all of the difference here.
