Doctor Dances During Surgeries & Posts Videos On YouTube, Gets Sued For Her Actions

Operations can be scary for patients and we are all familiar with doctors adopting several ways to shift our attention from the action. While talking or interacting with the patient is the most common way, we have found a doctor who does something unique that tops all methods.

Dr. Windell Boutte, a Dermatologist from Georgia, USA, has a habit of dancing during her surgeries and posting them on her YouTube page.

In one of her videos that went viral, she can be seen dancing along with her nurses. She has also been spotted singing with surgical instruments while the patient unconscious on the table.

However, she had to face the consequences of her act as several lawsuits have been filed against the doctor, claimed a CNN report. All her videos have been deleted from her YouTube page as a result of the lawsuits.

It is believed that all the videos were uploaded for promotional purposes.

Out of the five lawsuits pending against her, Boutte has reached a settlement for four. Words from female patients treated by the dermatologist claim that they have suffered infection, disfigurement and even brain damage post-treatment.

While we do not know whether these are the results of her dancing, medical negligence, if any, is a grave error.
