This Doberman Died Saving His Owner’s Family From Four Venomous Mountain Cobras

A Dog, is indeed man’s best friend and dogs prove it time and time again with their fierce loyalty. And That’s what happened in Orissa.

This Doberman sacrificed his life saving his humans, a family from Sebekapur village under Raygada block of Gajapati district of Bhubaneswar, saving them from four mountain snakes trying to get into the house in the night.

He fought a bloody battle with the snakes suffering their venomous bites and stings all over his body for hours but died just minutes after he succeeded in killing all four of them.

Dibakar Raita, the owner of the house and the emotional human of the dog, said,

“I’m shocked. He has made the supreme sacrifice for me and my family. I will remember him till our death. I pray God – May his soul rest in peace…”

Hundreds of people of nearby areas rushed to the village as the news spread. The villagers laid floral wreaths on the body of the slain dog and held a funeral procession before burying it.
