When we were kids, we weren’t used to thinking much about the implications of festivals like Diwali. Our parents would give us some money, we’d buy a ton of crackers with them and cause mayhem.
However, as we grew up and educated ourselves, we learnt that our fun has consequences. And apart from the environmental impact, since we’re burdened with the pressure of mehngai and house-cleaning, celebrating Diwali has become a tricky task.
So, netizens discussed their Diwali plans through some hilarious jokes and memes. Here are the best ones:
1. Smart. No, that’s really smart.

So, what’s your Diwali plans? Are you feeling like a daredevil and in the mood to flout all safety norms (I wouldn’t advise that though)? Or are you going to play it safe and environment-friendly?
