Disha Patani is one of the most talented actors we have in the industry today. In a short span of time the M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story star has made a name for herself. However, coming under the public eye does have its downsides.
She has been trolled and slut-shamed by users online for “revealing too much” in the past. But there is one thing about Patani- she doesn’t take these things lying down. She fights for herself and shuts down people promoting this misogynistic mindset.
However, this time it was a part of the media fraternity who tried to slam Disha Patani. News 24 tweeted two pictures side-by-side of the actor, one from her childhood days, and the other from a red carpet event, trying to show an “ugly” contrast between the two.
Twitterati immediately jumped to the star’s defense and started calling the media house out. News 24 then moved to delete the tweet.
The news channel had even published an article calling the Kung Fu Yoga actor saying,
“THERE IS A SHOCKING PICTURE OF DISHA PATANI WHERE SHE IS SEEN AS A PLAIN JANE, VERY ORDINARY, AND DULL.”
The article also went on to say that Patani looks like an “ordinary looking girl, wearing a school uniform.” And the contrast between the two pictures is “shocking.”
However, the beautiful actor took to Twitter to call out the media house. Talking about the difference between the two pictures, she wrote, “Should’ve worn a beautiful gown, and done up my hair and makeup nicely before heading to my 7th std class.”
You are absolutely right @news24tvchannel ! shouldve worn a beautiful gown and done up my hair n make up nicely before heading to my 7th std class. #sorryforbeinganuglychild P.s. you couldnt get a better breaking news than that? 🤣🤣👍🏻 pic.twitter.com/mJM228LdF1

More power to you Patani!
It’s disturbing that it was a mainstream media house calling the celebrity “ugly”, that too when she was only a child. Disha, haters gonna hate! ❤
