Forbes Calls Kylie Jenner A ‘Self-Made’ Billionaire, Dictionary.com Says, ‘Hold My Beer’

Unless you live under a rock, you’ve probably heard of Kylie Jenner. The 21-year-old sibling of the famous Kardashian-Jenner clan, Instagram sensation and owner of the Kylie Cosmetics empire started in 2015. Recently, Forbes crowned her with the ‘youngest-ever self-made billionaire’ title. A feat which Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg achieved at 23.

But Dictionary.com was having none of it. Their response to the first ‘selfie-made’ billionaire was as savage as it comes.

This isn’t the first time Dictionary.com’s Twitter handle has thrown shade at Forbes

In August 2018, Kylie featured on a Forbes cover and they hailed her as one of the many #SelfMadeWomen in America. They promptly got schooled on the definition of the word self-made. To put things in context, Kylie Jenner was a mere 10-years-old when the show ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ first aired on TV and went on to take over the world. She was never in lack of wealth or fame by any stretch of the imagination.

In an interview with Paper Magazine, Kylie argued her case by revealing that she was cut off at 15.

“My parents told me I needed to make my own money, it’s time to learn how to save and spend your own money, stuff like that. What I’m trying to say is I did have a platform, but none of my money is inherited.”

Everyone loved Dictionary.com’s epic response and demanded that whoever handled the account be given a raise!

Now I’m going to go follow them on Twitter and look for more of their sassy replies #KThanksBye.
