Visuals Of ‘Tornado’ Over River Ganga Go Viral After Cyclone Yaas Hits West Bengal & Odisha

Just days after the deadly cyclone Tauktae, cyclonic storm ‘Yaas’ made landfall between Dhamra Port and Balasore on the Odisha coast yesterday, reported NDTV.

Several states including West Bengal and Jharkhand are put on high alert to reduce the impact of the storm as it is expected to pass over these regions.

As the weather wreaks havoc in these Indian states, restrictions on movements in the vicinity have been put in place and around 12 lakh people were evacuated on Tuesday in West Bengal.

The Indian Army has also deployed a total of seventeen integrated Cyclone Rescue and Relief Columns.

Meanwhile, several appalling visuals of the disastrous cyclone have been shared online.

Visuals of a tornado making its way into West Bengal flooded social media.
